Leadax Lead Replacement Flashing
Leadax PVB Flashing is the world’s most sustainable and circular lead replacement, with the look-and-feel of traditional lead Leadax Original matches the unique characteristics and properties as traditional lead. Leadex can be used and processed in exactly the same way as lead — without compromise! The material is made up of Aluminium on both sides with a layer of modified polyvinyl butyral, with a removable protective film on either side of the product.
Uses
- As a water barrier in (cavity) walls and under casings
- At the intersection between chimney bases and roof tiles
- At chimney flashings to provide a water barrier
- At the base of dormers and skylights as a waterproofing layer and at the joint between dormer side walls and tiled roofs
- As a watertight connection between an outside wall and an extension. Use Leadex clips to attach Leadax to masonry joints
- As Valley gutters and waterproofing on the ridges of tiles roofs
