Most have built-in lights to help you see what you're doing and can change from a pistol grip to a straight handle, depending on how you need to use them. They run on rechargeable batteries and usually show you how much power is left.

For DIY jobs around the house, a basic set of manual screwdrivers or a good multi-bit screwdriver will handle most tasks. If you do a lot of assembly work or bigger projects, an electric screwdriver might be worthwhile.
