All FAKRO loft ladders arrive fully-assembled to ensure hassle-free installation with a professional fit. The LWK Komfort ladder’s low weight and a state-of-the-art new way of attaching the hatch using ‘click’ technology, allows for easy and quick installation.
The ladder also has a peripheral seal ensuring a tight in-ceiling fit and is designed to maximise thermal efficiency saving you money on the costs of unnecessary heat loss.#
The newly designed hatch hinges to control movement, allowing the ladder to move away from the hatch as it opens so you can open and close the ladder safely and securely with greater ease of use.
After unlocking, the hatch mechanism opens slowly and maintains the hatch in a fully open position preventing spontaneous closure during the use of the ladder.

- The ladder comes complete with stile ends, a white hatch, peripheral seal, a handrail and non-slip treads set flush with ladder strings.
- Technical specification: Permissible load of 160kg. A heat transmission co-efficient U-Value = 1.1w/m2k with insulation thickness of 3cm. Hatch thickness of 3.6cm and it has passed to Standard EN14975.
- Tread length - 30cm size 55cm x 111cm.
