Internal Door Frames & Casing Sets

Internal door frames and casings create the structure around doorways inside homes and buildings. They are mostly made from Swedish or Scandinavian redwood and these products are strong, stable and look naturally elegant. We have several types of doorframe casings available in store and online. Standard internal door casings come as complete sets with two side pieces, one top piece and built-in door stops so everything you need comes in one package. Fire-rated door casings are specially designed for use with fire doors and can resist fire for up to 30 minutes when they are installed correctly. These usually measure 50 x 115 mm and work with doors up to 2040 x 926 mm. Square doorframe casings usually measure 50 x 100 mm and can be used for normal indoor use.

We also stock fire door intumescent strips that expand during a fire to seal gaps between the door and frame. These come in different widths and colours, and they measure 2.1 m in length. Some versions include smoke seals with brush strips that block smoke. These strips also have sticky backing for easy installation, and they work well even in humid areas.
