Building chemicals have various uses in the construction, renovation and maintenance of buildings and outdoor structures. In our range of chemicals, we stock brick and patio cleaner that is used to remove dirt, grime, algae and stains from brick surfaces, mineral based surfaces and patios. Using a chemical cleaner can restore the look and appearance of your patio and it prepares surfaces for sealing or painting.

Our range also includes a fungicidal wash that is used to kill and prevent fungus, mould and mildew growth on various surfaces, including walls, floors, roofs and drives. Using a fungicidal wash improves the health and safety of the surface, prevents the material from degrading and makes the surface suitable for painting. When you have used the brick and patio cleaner and the fungicidal wash, you can seal your path or patio with our sealant. We also stock a water seal that is suitable for use on walls only and that cannot be used on paving or high traffic areas. The water seal can be applied to porous surfaces such as concrete, brick or wood, and it prevents water penetration, reduces damage from the freeze-thaw cycles and it can extend the lifespan of the material. Integral water proofer can be added to concrete or mortar mixes and it improves water resistance throughout the material, not just on the surface. We also stock mortar plasticiser to add to mortar mixes, and this can improve the workability of the mortar, enhance frost resistance and it can reduce the amount of water you need in your mortar mix.
